ABOUT MORNINGSIDE BOOK BANK
In June 2024, The Children’s Book Bank celebrated the grand opening of our Morningside location, the first of three new spaces in our expansion project. In previous years, up to 30% of all books distributed through our Books Across the City program went to supporting partners in Scarborough.
We recognized the need for literacy support in this area and were eager to open a physical location to better support families. The engagement CBB Morningside has received from local schools, partners, and community members has been incredible, allowing us to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
