First Annual Story Soirée Raises Over $50,000
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us at our first annual Story Soirée on Thursday, November 13!
We were very grateful to have over 200 attendees with us to help celebrate our volunteers, community partners, and former Executive Director Mary Ladky. We were thrilled to announce the new Mary Ladky Teen Award launching in 2026, the 1-year extension funding from The Waltons Trust, and sharing that we will be developing a strategic growth plan in 2026.
Thanks to the support of the community, we achieved our goal of raising $50,000 for our literacy programs! This generosity will help fuel our continued expansion as we extend our services in Scarborough and Jane & Finch to 5 days a week starting in January.
