The Children’s Book Bank Gives Away Two Millionth Book!
Over the past eighteen years, The Children’s Book Bank has provided free books to children, teens, and families across the city through our community literacy spaces and Books Across the City Program. On May 27 we reached a major milestone as we gave away our two millionth book!
Stacked on top of each other, these books would reach 42,000 ft. high—the equivalent of twenty-three CN Towers.
But the real impact is immeasurable. It’s two million inspiring adventures. Two million comforting bedtime stories shared with loved ones. Two million opportunities to empower young readers and spark a lifelong love of reading.
We want to thank everyone who has supported The Children’s Book Bank over the past eighteen years. We couldn’t have reached this important milestone without you!
