The Children’s Book Bank was founded in late 2007 by a small group of dedicated individuals who saw the importance of ensuring that all children have access to books. Since then The Children’s Book Bank has grown and developed as a result of the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations who have donated funds, books and their time.

Host an Event or Party
For your next gathering, instead of gifts, why not have your guests give a secure online donation to The Children’s Book Bank via ECHOage. All contributions from guests are pooled together with half of the funds collected going to the party host and the other half sent to The Book Bank. Great for any and all celebrations! Donating Books & Book Drives
The Children’s Book Bank depends on donations of new and gently-used children’s books from the community to support all of our programming both at our Berkeley Storefront and across Toronto. Schools, workplace and community groups collect thousands of books all year long through book drives to donate to The Children’s Book Bank.
