Our Volunteers

The Children’s Book Bank is truly the product of committed and generous citizens working together, from the four year old who collects books at her birthday party instead of presents to the retired teacher-librarian who gives his or her time to provide literacy support in the Book Bank. A roster of over 60 volunteers enable the operations of the store-front Book Bank. In addition, a large number of anonymous volunteers donate countless hours organizing book drives at their schools, churches, community centres and workplaces.
