Our Books

“When I was in grade 6 I did not like books or even like to read but now I love it. I think I love it so much because they have more than one book for you to choose from and they help you [find one] that is just right for you. Thank you so much for everything.”

“They give out books that are really good and they help us read better and some people don’t have much money to buy books so the book bank will give you a book for free and then you don’t have to buy a book because books are really expensive. A book is usually a lot of money.”

The Children’s Book Bank offers a wide range of quality books including fiction, non-fiction, and picture books. These books are available free of charge to the children who visit. Books are obtained through ongoing community and private donation. The Children’s Book Bank relies on the support of schools and other local community organizations to ensure the steady supply of a wide range of gently used books of interest to all children from infants through Grade Six.
